What not to do with your prints...

Abrasive Objects
Do not allow anything rough to touch the surface of your vinyl. This could cause your ink to come off.
Billboards or Banners made of vinyl flex are designed to be durable, but frequent rubbing against rough surfaces can wear them down faster.

Whip and Nae Nae
Do not allow your vinyl to whip in the wind! If your vinyl comes loose for any reason fix it fast! Your ink could crack and the vinyl could rip very quickly. If you look to your printer to replace it due to poor installation you might be disappointed.Â

Grommet Blowout
Use common sense. After all...this is a plastic material that will not last if not installed properly. Too much pressure or pull on your grommets will result in a blowout. Especially in cold weather the vinyl tends to not stretch well and is more rigid. Best to install when it is warm.
You might consider these options to improve banner longevity:
- Add webbing to your hem
- Grommets ever 1' instead of ever 2'
- Use Mesh Vinyl to resist wind ripple

Ink to Ink
If you take your vinyl out do not fold it back ink to ink. Your vinyl could be potentially ruined. Ink sticks to itself and could peel off.
Recommendation:
- Roll your banners and backdrops after use.
- Billboards are typically not reused after use. But if you choose to save your billboard for future use, then fold it back like you originally got it out of the box.
